Balsamic-Rosemary Sirloin Skewers Recipe

Ingredients:

For the marinade:

1½ lbs sirloin tips, cut into 1½-inch cubes
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
3 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional for extra depth)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp freshly cracked black pepper

For the skewers:

Cherry tomatoes
Red onion chunks
Bell peppers (red, yellow, or green), chopped into 1.5” pieces
Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden, soak in water for 30 min)

Directions:

Marinate the Steak:
In a bowl or zip-top bag, combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, garlic, rosemary, mustard (if using), salt, and pepper.
Add the sirloin tips and toss to coat. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).
Assemble the Skewers:
Thread the marinated steak cubes onto the skewers, alternating with cherry tomatoes, onion, and bell pepper pieces.
Grill:
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Grill skewers for 8–12 minutes, turning every few minutes, until the steak reaches your desired doneness (135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium).
Let rest 5 minutes before serving.

Serving Suggestions:

Garnish with fresh rosemary or a sprinkle of sea salt.
Serve with grilled corn, a light potato salad, or a garlic herb dipping sauce.

Red, White & Blue Donut Hole Skewers with Quick Chocolate Dipping Sauce

Ingredients:

Powdered sugar donut holes (white)
Strawberries (halved or whole, red)
Blueberries (whole, blue)
Skewers or bamboo picks

Directions:

Alternate on the skewer: strawberry, donut hole, blueberry.
Repeat until skewers are full (usually 2 sets per skewer looks great).
Keep chilled until ready to serve.

Quick Chocolate Dipping Sauce (using cocoa powder)

Ingredients:

½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
½ cup heavy cream (or milk for a lighter version)
2 tablespoons butter
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Pinch of salt

Directions:

In a small saucepan, combine cocoa powder and sugar.
Stir in cream (or milk) and place over medium heat.
Whisk constantly until smooth and gently bubbling, about 2–3 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in butter, vanilla, and a pinch of salt.
Let cool slightly — serve warm with the skewers.
